Harbor Point

Recognizing an opportunity that stood silent for decades, Antares set into motion an unprecedented vision of the Stamford Waterfront known as Harbor Point. The development will feature over 80 acres of mixed-use space, including an energized mile-long waterfront, 10.5 acres of parks and public spaces, and convenient transportation. Harbor Point has been master-planned by an internationally renowned design team as a model for smart growth, transit-oriented development, and green development practices.

Construction at Harbor Point is expected to commence in 2008, with the first phase scheduled for completion by 2009. As it begins to transform what was once industrial sites into a vibrant mixed-use development, Harbor Point will also lead the way in environmental design—having been accepted as one of the first projects in the United States Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) pilot program.

The Harbor Point plan is a successful collaboration between the community, the city of Stamford, and Antares. Through this public-private partnership, Harbor Point will be a transformational development for Stamford.
