Industry veteran Lori Baker appointed Assistant Vice President, Leasing and Real Estate Services

Antares Investment Partners, a leading Greenwich-based real estate private equity and development firm, announced today that Lori Baker has joined the firm as the Assistant Vice President of Leasing and Real Estate Services. In this newly created position, Ms. Baker will be responsible for marketing Antares’ Stamford office portfolio, which has grown to 1.3 million square feet of existing office space and 1.6 million square feet of new office development. Also in this role, she will develop and maintain strong relationships with both tenants and the brokerage community, promote availabilities and negotiate lease transactions.

A senior executive with more than 20 years of industry experience, Ms. Baker brings proven expertise and leadership in marketing, leasing and managing lease transactions. Before joining Antares, Ms. Baker was responsible for procuring and managing residential lending initiatives, risk evaluation and financial resolution for Washington Mutual Bank.

Prior to that, she served as the Vice President of Marketing and Leasing for Albert D. Phelps, Inc., where she was instrumental in negotiating lease transactions that resulted in more than 250,000 square feet of leased space.

Ms. Baker also brings experience from the local area, as she also managed the Stamford office for McCarthy O’Callaghan, a commercial real estate brokerage firm headquartered in White Plains, New York. Ms. Baker has been an active member of the Real Estate Finance Association for eight years. She also is a University of Maryland graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning, as well as a Master’s of Architecture.
